A self-taught artist, Bonnie spent the first 30 years of her life on her family’s horse farm in upstate NY. If she wasn’t riding horses, she was sketching them. Although the farm ceased operation in 2000, she continues to be inspired by her life there and by the mountains, valleys and villages that surround it. In 2007 she designed an ornament for the Blue Room Christmas Tree in the White House. Bonnie and her husband Scott still live next door to her family’s farm with their dog Marley and cats, Mitty and Scooter.

I love all of Bonnie White’s pieces, but this one is truly stunning! The drill quality is amazing and there was hardly any gapping between squares. The colors were great and the speciality drills were especially beautiful. Overall this was so fun to work on and it looks amazing now that it’s finished.

I'm still working on this one, but so far, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. The colors are well-chosen, the quality of the materials is outstanding and the painting is a good balance between color-block sections and "confetti".

The contrast between the deeply falling snow illuminated by moonlight and the people and animals traveling along the snowy road was truly striking. The shading of the smoke rising from the chimneys is beautifully done, and my favorite detail is the parent and baby deer peeking in to observe the town scene.
