The fantasy art of Anne Stokes features striking designs and life like portrayals of fantasy subjects. Her art covers a broad range of themes, from the romantic and magical enchanted Forest, to the dark underworld of gothic vampires. Classical topics are reinvented with a strong design and impact, and new creatures are brought to life in a unique and eye catching manner. Anne is originally from London but now lives in the north of England, near Leeds with her son Leo and partner John. She started her art career as a merchandise designer and then worked as a freelance illustrator where she worked on a number of book, game and record products, which included producing concept art and illustrations for Dungeons and Dragons. As Anne’s art career progressed she moved solely into licensing her own creations and expanding the ranges of her fantasy themed paintings. Using symbolism within her pictures to convey meaning Anne’s artworks has been widely acclaimed. Working with Art Ask Agency her many paintings have been licensed on a wide range of products which are on sale worldwide, including T-shirts, posters, book covers, calendars, jigsaws, tarot cards, sculptures, mugs, jewellery and greetings cards. She continues to produce new works and has published several books.

I have this kitted up and ready to go. I've just finished a cheap kit from another company that I was given for Christmas, and oh dear! Now I've started Snow Dragon, the canvas quality is out of this world better than anything I've done so far. This will be my third Diamond Painting ever, my first square kit... and I'm never going back. I've had to do everything including iron canvasses from elsewhere to get them flat. Snow Dragon just smooths out, it is perfectly soft and doesn't hold a single hint of a crease. The glue is perfect. Holds very well.
The rendering of this design is amazing. I love this artist's work, have admired her for about 20 years now. I know the artwork of old, and it is just coming alive under my drill pen as I work. So much mindful peace and happy exploration of details that I missed working close up like this. I love the cover minder in the tool kit too. So pretty and very useful. I didn't realise how much I'd use it even with the tiny little sections I do in the cover paper. I'll be very sorry to see them go. Overall; I'd recommend Diamond Art Club generally. The quality is absolutely top class, and the customer service is second to none. I recommend this design for the faithful rendering of one of my favourite artist's work that is a lovely way to buy a large version of one of her art pieces on canvas, that I can frame and put on my wall, while giving myself weeks of happy me-time completing the diamond painting. I adore this one. All the white and different greys come so beautiful together and make the dragon really stands out. He was definitely so worth buying him and I will hang him in my livingroom when he's ready. Looking at him makes you step into another world. I absolutely recommand this kit.
