This canvas was an absolute joy to complete. This was my second Richard Lorenz diamond painting that I have completed. I love all of his quirky birds. Myrtle is such a fun, intense bird and personifies what many of us feel during the holiday season…frazzled due to the stress of the holidays. I loved all of the bright colours and special drills. The quality of the rendering, the canvas, the drills are, as always, outstanding. I look forward to working on many more Diamond Art Club canvases by this artist.
I'm a total Christmas grinch and avoid everything to do with it. Alas I'm also a Richard Lorenz fan, so of course I had to have Myrtle. I just adore this piece and it will from now on, be my official 'Christmas Tree' taking prominent place every December.
This was such a fun image to work on, with lots of quirky little bits to keep you interested. I'm not a fast diamond painter, and this one took me 7 months to complete. I can't wait for Christmas to roll around so that I can hang my birdie-Grinch up for the holidays!
I love the finished canvas but the work was a slog. No fault of DAC or Myrtle. She was just on my table way too long. With the holidays, it couldn’t be helped. So glad when she was finally done. But she’s absolutely adorable! The canvas was great, the drills were pretty good. Usual DAC awesomeness!

Finished Myrtle Ho Ho Ho just in time for Christmas ! Bought this last December but didn't work on it figuring I would get it done for this Christmas. I started Dec. 1st & thankfully finished it just in time for holiday visitors to enjoy.
Myrtle was great fun to do and finished product is so colorful & (delightful ?).
Can't wait to start on Special Delivery !
