Oh Joy!

This is the only DAC painting I've been disappointed by. There are bright pink lines marking where the plastic covering tearoffs are. Unfortunately, because the background is beige, it's super, super glaring.

I don't know if it's worth finishing when those bright pink lines are going to be distracting overall.

I have never been so frustrated with a DAC canvas. Part was what did I expect with the size of the canvas and only 12 colors, three being shades of beige. This happened to be one of the canvases with perforated cover sheet that had the lines marked with pink. I understand from customer service they knew there was an issue with the lines marked on the wrong side so they bled on to the canvas. Since this is round drills the pink shows. Especially since the canvas when completed is 75% beige. I’m a once I’ve started a project I have to complete it even if just to roll it up and never look at I again. It was not really an option to return since it was kitted and over half done once I realized the lines were not fading. So DAC offered a $15 or 1500 point credit. Kind of sad based on cost and inconvenience. I hope they reconsider the idiot lines. If people really can’t tell the edges use washi as it always works.

Also with the three shades of beige there was no way to easily color block outside of the central image. Colors 4 & 9 were literally just alternating lines. 🤦‍♀️

I love the detail in the picture. It turned out so beautiful. The person I gave it to as a gift loved it!

Love the old fashioned design and the size is just perfect! Very excited to start this!
