Christopher Lovell is a self-taught, Welsh artist - based in the UK - who grew up on sci-fi, cartoons, fantasy books and toys. The nostalgia of these still triggers his imagination and pours into his art. I had so much fun with this painting. I added a bunch of crystal drills all over. I only wish it weren’t the same 4 brown colors for the entire canvas. I feel like there were spots that shouldn’t have been charted with those browns. Other than that, as always, love it!

The quality of the drills, canvas and glue was good as always.
The rendering of this piece is mindblowing. The details in this canvas are amazing. This also means there is a lot of confentti. But the blue background is al one color, so also a lot of colorblocking.
This canvas is definitely one of my favorites. Pictures don't do it justice.

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.
Step 1
Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax
Step 2
Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
