About the artist

Susan Winget

With a signature style recognized for its warmth and accessibility, Susan’s art exudes her passion for life, family and nature. With her children, grandchildren, horses and dogs nearby on her farm in South Carolina, Susan’s home provides constant inspiration for the vast array of collections that she has created over her brilliant 35-year career as an Artist. Valentine Gnomes! 2023

This was such a fun piece to complete with all the sparkling diamonds placed throughout the picture. The reds were a happy welcome with all the ice this week! Now to clean and frame and put up on the mantle for our Valentine centerpiece!!

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
