I use this tip to replace the plastic brass tip that comes with the DAC kits. I love the tip but what I don’t love is that it comes loose often and when I tighten it wax comes out

Works great with the plastic pens you get in the kit or if you buy the colored ones. As a heavy placer I prefer the metal

Doesn't fit my pens
I am still trying to regulate the amount of residue left on the drill. I seem to have to twist the tip very often to pick up. I do like the strength of the tip, however, for the price, it isn’t any better than a plastic tip.
Brillant to use
I had the twist and pick pens but they had the plastic tips which the plastic split so I purchased this and it was perfect and right on time this is a great replacement works well.
I feel bad about rating this 3 stars, but honestly, the textured one is much preferred because it is difficult getting this one to turn with the white putty as there is no purchase for your grip and the putty is thick. This was a 5 before the other one hit the market to compare it with.
