The trapped siren in this painting speaks to me because she is trapped in the same waters that give her life. How often we feel this too, in the very same places that we need to survive. To me, a beautiful allegory and picture of humanity.

Love this Mermaid, took me forever to get her, but now that I have, I love her, her colors, her shape....she's beautiful! The canvas, as usual is so very soft, the symbols very clear, and love the drill colors. This is one that I have wanted since I started buying form Diamond Art Club, she is popular, and was out of stock for a while. Well worth the wait.
