When I first i got this, tho I loved the image, I was intimidated by all the black. After it was kitted up it turned out not to have as much black as I originally thought yet I decided to trim a couple inches off of each side. I also did some enhancing of my own with glow in the dark drills for the stars and some of his glow.

In the end I liked the smaller size better as it gave me more options as to where the person I gifted it to to hang it and we both ended up loving it! What a difference a couple inches can make ;)

Maybe my favorite painting of all times!

I loved loved loved working on this painting!!

It’s a lot of black, but I used a ruler so they are super straight.

The little sparkles in the sky make it pop!!

Really love this painting so much, because of its ‘simple’ design.

Will be beautiful, but

I love this artwork. I gave the product itself 4 stars only because I think it was a missed opportunity for glow-in-the-dark drills, and perhaps a little more of the colour/illumination around the stag as in the original artwork. Otherwise, I think it is great if you want something larger and enjoy lots of colour blocking.
