I knew when I started this painting, I was going to take it slow and do little sections so that I would be able to enjoy it instead of getting frustrated by all the black. Doing it this way defiantly worked. I really enjoyed working on this and the end result is stunning.

I loved this picture. I had already done five 12x14, much cheaper, round-drill paintings purchased through Amazon and with great success keeping drills straight, with no gaps. I was excited for this much larger project. It didn't take long before I was beating myself up, thinking I didn't have enough experience for this much larger project. I couldn't keep rows straight, white dots (the symbol for black) showing when I did try to straighten rows, gaps between rows when straightening to cover the white....but I have never been a quitter and kept going. As I neared the final rows, I saw that the very last row of symbols was very, very slowly angling until, at one point, it was off-line enough that only half the symbol was visible. I guess one could deduce that all lines were slightly off and reason it was impossible to keep a straight row. I know better now, check edges of picture to be sure grid was printed on canvas straight. NOTE: before I started Nightbringer, I also ordered a partial, square drill that did turn out beautifully and because it did, I gave it another try and ordered Greet the Morning, full, round drills that gave me as much joy to complete as the joy depicted by the picture.
I love the finished painting! It sparkles a lot! I found quite a bit of trash in the 310 (which is the reason I put a 4 out of 5 stars) but had more than enough to finish it. It is worth it! Love it!

This kit is the sparkliest kit I have ever seen. The round diamond sparkle more than square ones would making it glisten like real diamonds as you walk by. I normally prefer square diamond but round makes sense for this kit.
Not in a hurry to finish but it goes pretty fast because you can use a multi-placer for most of it. Love the kits simplicity, class ones, and sparkle. Highly recommend.
