Barb Gelotte Tourtillotte (pronounced 'Tour-till-oh') first demonstrated her love for drawing by using crayons on her bedroom wall as a toddler… much to her parents chagrin. She later attended Central Washington University and the Burnley School of Professional Art, majoring in Graphic Design and Illustration. Barb now lives with her husband and three children in beautiful Washington State, and feels incredibly blessed to be able to spend her day creating.

A self-taught artist, Bonnie spent the first 30 years of her life on her family’s horse farm in upstate NY. If she wasn’t riding horses, she was sketching them. Although the farm ceased operation in 2000, she continues to be inspired by her life there and by the mountains, valleys and villages that surround it. In 2007 she designed an ornament for the Blue Room Christmas Tree in the White House. Bonnie and her husband Scott still live next door to her family’s farm with their dog Marley and cats, Mitty and Scooter.
Bradley Clark has painted professionally for more than 30 years. As a traditional watercolor painter, Clark designs images in his studio that are realistic and decorative. David Lozeau is a figurative painter who creates unique, expressive skeleton characters and puts a modern, Lowbrow twist on traditional Dia de los Muertos iconography. I'm a self-taught artist, which I believe allows me to escape to many areas. Going from something gothic and whimsical to creating sexy pin-up girls would only be the surface of my interest. Being an international artist has allowed me to travel to London, England to participate in one of the biggest art exhibitions. My art work has been featured in several magazines like Tat2 Magazine. I was also part of a project called "Street art with no borders" so many of my art pieces have been pasted throughout Europe. I enjoy creating big eyed girls and cute whimsical creatures. Most of my inspiration comes from the films of Tim Burton like the "Corspe Bride".
Becca Golins started Dragons and Beasties in2010. Her art style is highly influenced by everything she loved most growing up: Lisa Frank, cartoons, anime, Disney, and comics. The more color, the better! As a child, it was abundantly clear that Becca would have a career in art someday. Every scrap of paper was destined for dragon doodles, all school note margins packed with mythical beasts. Her passion for fantasy creatures started young, and only burned brighter as she grew to adulthood. Dragons are her main focus these days, and she is very well known for her highly sought-afterclay sculptures. She’s built a fiercely loyal following over the years, allowing her to become a full-time artist and creator. She often posts timelapse videos of her working on sculptures and drawings on her social media pages to encourage other growing artists and share her process. Ed Beard Jr. gained pop culture name status through his over 100 works in Magic the Gathering card game, automotive airbrush art, Tolkien art, Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit art as well as Dungeon products. Born in Yokohama, Japan in 1947, Hiro Tanikawa longed to be a cartoon artist. He graduated from Tokyo Design College in comics and animation graphics and soon saw his artwork published by several boy’s magazines in Japan. At this point, Hiro decided to change direction and pursue fine art and commercial illustration. Since then, Mr. Tanikawa’s artworks have been licensed to children books, jigsaw puzzles, stationery and calendars in Japan and worldwide. He currently teaches art at the Nagaoka Institute of Design.

James A. Meger couldn’t remember a time in his life that he didn’t want to be an artist. His rural upbringing and his love of nature were the inspirations for his paintings and he often dreamed of combining these loves with a career. After completing his B.F.A., James served as a combat officer in Vietnam for 14 months. Eventually, he ended up teaching back in Minnesota, but he still dreamed of painting. With a lot of outside encouragement, he gave up teaching and six weeks later won the Minnesota State Duck Stamp Competition for 1980. His career took off from that point garnering numerous awards including over 15 Best of Show and Popular Choice awards at major national shows around the country. James died of cancer on August 25, 2011 and is survived by his wife, Laurene; and daughter, Elise.

My life with kitties is never dull.I never thought I would be doing paintings of cats. After we got our first cat, Miss Joshua, many ideas began to evolve. I'm most known for my painting and art direction on the "Mystery Case Files" series of hidden object / adventure games published by Big Fish Games. I spend most of my time painting images of my world inspired by my cats. My work developed from strong influences of Art Nouveau, Classical Realism, and a well developed sense of childlike Haynie wonder. Stories emerge as I work usually pointing to a symbolic message to inspire hope and faith.

By Starting out in graphic/web design, Ms. Fain soon began exploring abstract painting on canvas. Upon his return to Japan, Sato pursued a career as a fine artist, focusing on nature in all its glory, and, particularly, on endangered species, and their dwindling place in our world. An avid environmentalist, Sato regularly contributes part of his earnings and paintings to World Wildlife Fund, Japan.
