Ruane studied at the Philadelphia Museum of Art before going on to win international acclaim for his paintings and sculptures, some of which are included in the collections of former U.S. Presidents. Manning’s images come to life through the expert use of light, authentic detailing and intimate knowledge of his subjects form, which he observes from his home and studio on a farm in southern New Jersey.
