Typically, I work on multiple canvases simultaneously to keep things varied, but *Quiet Mountain Lake* completely captivated me.
It’s a stunning piece—both calming and vibrant. Despite the abundance of green, which I adore, the variety within the scene prevents it from ever feeling monotonous. I absolutely loved working on this canvas. Took about 90 hours give or take. The rendering was amazing and as you can see, it’s gorgeous!!! Landscape canvases can be daunting and given the size of this one I was a bit worried, but I ended up having so much fun watching it come to life. So much shine and super realistic! Finishing it was bittersweet
