An American artist and illustrator, best known for his intricate and highly detailed drawings of animals, Mr. Jeffs uses only black, ink pens and colored pencils to bring animals to life in his ongoing series of portrait illustrations. Capturing the smallest of details of each animal’s fur, skin texture, and patterns, he edges away from photorealism when he covers his subjects with a stylized pattern of his own creation.
