After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

I have had this painting in my stash for a few months now. I was a little intimidated by the canvas size, to be honest, but now that I'm working on it, I'm absolutely in love. It's going to take a little while to finish it! Every time I walk by my craft table I smile! The colors are bold and brilliant and I've started using my Diamond Art Club forever 4 placer to work on this beauty! I'm absolutely in love with this piece!
