Dakota Daetwiler

After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

Gorgeous artwork

I love the works of this artist and I love nautical themes—especially if fantasy or steampunk inspired. I haven’t started the DP yet so I can’t address what the final result will be but Diamond Art Club never disappoints. I judged crafting time by my own history. It takes me about a month to six weeks to complete one this size if I work on it at least 2-4 hours per day.

Flim wasn’t fully on

So far everything is great and shiny and I love it. However when I received it a corner was completely bent flim wasn’t on and it’s completely not sticky. So I’m just going have to glue the corner of it down manually ig….. everything else tho is great
