About the artist
Anne Stokes
The fantasy art of Anne Stokes features striking designs and life like portrayals of fantasy subjects. Her art covers a broad range of themes, from the romantic and magical enchanted Forest, to the dark underworld of gothic vampires. Classical topics are reinvented with a strong design and impact, and new creatures are brought to life in a unique and eye catching manner. Anne is originally from London but now lives in the north of England, near Leeds with her son Leo and partner John. She started her art career as a merchandise designer and then worked as a freelance illustrator where she worked on a number of book, game and record products, which included producing concept art and illustrations for Dungeons and Dragons. As Anne’s art career progressed she moved solely into licensing her own creations and expanding the ranges of her fantasy themed paintings. Using symbolism within her pictures to convey meaning Anne’s artworks has been widely acclaimed. Working with Art Ask Agency her many paintings have been licensed on a wide range of products which are on sale worldwide, including T-shirts, posters, book covers, calendars, jigsaws, tarot cards, sculptures, mugs, jewellery and greetings cards. She continues to produce new works and has published several books.

Labor of Love
Despite what the review title implies, I loved working on this kit. I started on 11/5/22 and finished on 2/6/23. That is the longest I have ever taken on a kit, but it is also the biggest kit I have done. Square kits seem to take longer for me, too. In that time frame we had 3 holidays, I was understaffed at work and had to pick up extra hours, and my oldest had a trip to New Orleans (alone) that left momma a nervous wreck! So it took a while, but I loved watching it come to life! I love the finished product, it looks amazing! I highly recommend this kit.

Magnificient
This canvas is great, it has a wonderful mix of confetti and colour blocking allowing you to keep interest on such a beast of a canvas. I love Anne Stoke art work and this no exception a truly wonderful piece to decorate the home for the festive season. Be Aware though this canvas is huge and I would not recommend as the first piece for a beginner, that is unless you have a truly adventurous spirit. I hope if you purchase you enjoy as much as I have. Apologies the video is a little blurry, but it does really demonstrate the sparkle on these diamonds.
