I have purchased and completed many canvases from DAC and have loved them all. Then along came this one...
I paid $62.99 for this and its nowhere near the quality the price commands. The canvas is OK. But the beads.....sheesh...the bead quality is terrible.
So many of them are not flat and appear hollow, so they are almost see through and pointy corners.
A lot have uneven edges, the little tabs that connected them together are still attached to many of them, rendering these useless as well.
They are all slumped, stuck together, 4 and 5 at a time that I either have to sit and try to pop apart or hope I will have enough to finish this canvas without having to use these stuck together clumps.
The bead static in this kit was atrocious. I could not pour many colors out of the original bag into my kit containers. They were sticking to everything all over the table, my hands and it took me 2+ hours just to kit this one up.
I was so frustrated I almost threw the entire thing away. My other thought was to try and pour everything into the box it came in and just send it back and let the sellers deal with the same mess I had to deal with. I am still finding random beads from this kit stuck around the house due to static..
The only reason I am trying to complete this painting is because my 13 year old granddaughter fel in love with it and asked me to make it for her.
So I am struggling to complete the only kit I have ever hated from DAC. I will never purchase another kit from this…
