About the artist

Christine Karron

Christine Karron is a Canadian artist and illustrator. She was born and raised in Estonia and lived many years in Germany. Drawing and painting has always been her life. With some formal training, self-education and experience, between raising kids and taking care of her family, Christine has been working as a freelance artist for over 20 years. Working traditionally, Christine loves to create fantasy illustrations and characters with a whimsical, narrative touch, sometimes with humorous theme. Nature, music and people from her surroundings mostly influence Christine’s artwork, as well as precious memories from her childhood when picking flowers and berries in forests so deep like in fairy tales. Christine’s artwork has been sold worldwide, published in books and magazines in Europe as well as in North America. Christine has illustrated 6 children’s books and self-published multiple colouring books. When time allows, Christine shares her work in progress videos on her YouTube channel. Christine lives with her husband, their three kids and a dog in Central Alberta, Canada.

Magnifique !

Un rendu superbe pour une toile très agréable à faire. Par contre, les diamants ne sont pas aussi bien que pour les carrés. Je suis tombé sur des mal taillés ou sur certains avec des trous.

So great I had to buy another one

I bought this painting for myself and thought it was too cute to pass up and as I worked on it thought it would be great for a friend which is why I need another one the quality of the canvas is amazing there was a lot of drills left over even after I spilled a few and the colors made it fun for my to work on

So gorgeous

I loved working on this painting. The colors are so vibrant and the detail is amazing. It did take me awhile (almost 85 hours), since this is the biggest dp I've done so far, but so worth it!

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
