Miss Havisham was one of the very first kits I purchased back in 2022, right after discovering Diamond Art Club. Now in 2025, after seeing all the incredible improvements DAC has made over the past few years, opening this kit truly felt like opening a time capsule.
The rendering on this piece is absolute perfection—detailed, clear, and beautifully done. The drill quality and the slight gaps in the canvas, however, reminded me of the earlier days of DAC and aren’t quite up to the higher standards we’ve all become spoiled with in the newer kits. That said, it was still a fun and enjoyable project to work on, and it brought back the excitement I felt when I first started this hobby.
While it may not reflect the polish of today’s kits, Miss Havisham will always hold a special place in my heart as one of the canvases that began my DAC journey.
