I bought this DP originally with the idea of hanging it at our mountain cabin. But after finishing it I’m not sure I can let it go. He’s too cute!
Being that it was round drills, it was a fairly fast finish.
I did some thing I don’t normally do. When starting this canvas, I went straight for the bird! Did all the reds first followed by the branches and pine needles …then onto the surrounding background.
I decided on a distressed wood frame with white mat. Thought the distressed wood would give this a more nature-like feel to the overall picture.

This was my first project to see if I liked diamond art and I am now addicted. Winter Cardinal is good for beginners to learn round drill placement without frequent color changes and to learn confetti placement. Excellent quality!

Unfortunately mine arrived without the crystal gems. I had ordered on the DAC Amazon storefront. Customer support was phenomenal and fast to send replacements! However, they were sent individually bagged, which I found diabolical and hilarious. I completed this kit in about 2 days of off and on work. It came out really cute! Great starter kit.
