This Dia de los Muertos Mini Dazzler set was such a fun project from start to finish! The kit includes six mini canvases, and since they are partial-drill designs, only the artwork is covered with diamonds while the background is canvas only. Each canvas has a nice red border, so they look finished and display-ready without needing a frame.
One of my favorite features is that all 14 colors are "fairy dust" drills, which means every design has an extra layer of sparkle. The rich mix of greens, golds, coppers, and reds really makes the artwork pop and gives each finished piece beautiful depth and vibrancy.
The quality was excellent throughout. The adhesive was strong and consistent on every canvas, the symbols were easy to read, and I had plenty of extra drills in every color. I only had four trash drills in the entire kit.
Even though the canvases are small, they are packed with detail. It took me about 6½ hours to finish all six designs, averaging around an hour per canvas. The sugar skull was my favorite, with the flower design coming in a close second.
Overall, this is a wonderful kit for beginners because it's approachable and quick to complete, but experienced diamond painters will enjoy it just as much. It's a fun, relaxing project with beautiful results without requiring a huge time commitment.
