Most finely detailed work I've done to date

I've done big pieces before, but they had large blocks of color with small amounts of detail. This eagle is almost all fine detail with just a few color blocks, mostly in the background areas. As is normal I have a couple of colors I can't tell apart. Both the background color and the symbols are very close. I just save those diamonds for the end! I work on this every day. My idea of a perfect evening is working on my Eagle with a baseball game on the radio in the background. I started this 10 days ago and am about 20-25% complete. Thank goodness I have a big dining table! I get such pleasure out of these paintings!

Eagle wisdom

Absolutely in love with not only the design but the color choices as well. Most eagle designs look very masculine ( which is necessary) but this one reads a bit softer with the flowers.
