A self-taught artist, Bonnie spent the first 30 years of her life on her family’s horse farm in upstate NY. If she wasn’t riding horses, she was sketching them. Although the farm ceased operation in 2000, she continues to be inspired by her life there and by the mountains, valleys and villages that surround it. In 2007 she designed an ornament for the Blue Room Christmas Tree in the White House. Bonnie and her husband Scott still live next door to her family’s farm with their dog Marley and cats, Mitty and Scooter.

My first completed Bonnie White, although I own quite a few of hers. I love landscapes and especially buildings. This was so satisfying to do. I turned it sideways for some sections as I’m better at multi placing when vertical. Can’t wait to complete more of her kits

Very quaint scene. Lots of fun memories of what life was like. Lots of color, Brings back the old cross stitch days. Square drill canvases are great to do. More realism shows through, looks close to the picture.
