After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

This was my first DAC piece and it was probably the best “first” I could ask for. There are the perfect amounts of color blocking to confetti ratio and I loved watching it come alive as I went. It was a gift for my niece who loves horses and she was amazed at the artwork and how many drills created it.

I’m so enjoying working on this kit! The quality of the canvas, glue, and drills (except 404 black had a lot of tags). The colors are gorgeous and I can’t wait to see this done!

While the picture itself is stunning, the canvas is not well prepped with glue. The lower right side of my canvas is very slick and I’ve had to use dotz stick in order to secure my drills.
For the amount of money spent on this , I would have thought there would have been better quality control made on your products.
I usually don’t add reviews but in this case I felt I had to.
