I am about 99% finished with my first Diamond Art Club kit, and I understand that issues can happen. I will still be sure to leave a full review once completed.
That said, I want to be honest about my experience. I wasn’t impressed with my first DAC. I had heard Diamond Art Club was the best of the best, and that once you completed one, you wouldn’t want to use any other brand again. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for me.
At this point, I would rate this kit 2 out of 5 stars.
Throughout the project, I encountered:
A large number of broken or mis-formed drills
Entire bags missing
Multiple bags that did not contain enough drills
Additional missing drills discovered after replacement bags were sent
By the end, I found myself constantly worried about running out of drills, which took away from the enjoyment of the process. On top of that, many of the drills repeatedly popped off the canvas and seemed to fly off into the ether, adding to the frustration.
I truly wanted to love this kit, especially given DAC’s reputation. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes it helps improve future kits and quality control.
The colors on the canvas were absolutely stunning!
