About the artist

Maryline Cazenave

Maryline Cazenave is a graphic designer and animal lover based near Paris, France who has creating cat and dog artwork since 2008. After getting a degree in fashion, she worked as a cloth designer for a couple of years before turning to art and illustration. She started selling original paintings to Parisian boutiques and pet owners before gradually turning to art licensing as her main focus. Her art can be found on many products such as greeting cards, mugs and cross stitch kits. She has now been licensing her art for more than a decade, and her portfolio contains hundreds of adorable kitten and puppy designs that will melt your heart.

First Diamond Painting and loving it!

A friend recommended diamond painting to me and I thought I would start with an easy one.

Having so much fun. Over half way through painting my pug.

Honestly I cannot put this down. It’s become first place in my craft world at the moment. Great quality . These sets come with everything you need. My only adjustment was using a different pen which I purchased from DAC.

Beginner Friendly

If you are new to DP, this is a great starter piece. The background is not done in diamonds, so it makes for a quick and easy finish. Plus, who can resist that face?

Amazing Rendering

I love this kit, he’s a very cute pug.

Rendering on this piece is fantastic. Only downside is that I got a bad batch of diamonds, which DAC replaced for me. Only problem was that the shade of the colour was different from the original so I had to pick off the old gems.

Apart from that, it is fabulous!

Cuteness overload

This partial was so fun to do. The drills were amazing, very little trash. The canvas was so soft. Loved every minute doing this one . I don’t want to take it down after Halloween.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
