I love this Molly Harrison piece called preparing for flight. It’s very colorful. There’s a lot of confetti and also some areas of color blocking. The only thing that I did is take the twirl off of her foot and just cover it with the thing so it’s just her foot pointed down. I wasn’t crazy about the angle of the neck for the dragon at first, but then I realize the dragon is watching her and protecting her. This is a large piece but worth the time and patience.

My mother got me this for a birthday present and I am so incredibly excited to start it! Definitely placing drills on my current WIP a little faster now! It was also my first painting with the new kit style and it is amazing I love that there is additional support within the bow for the canvas and I’m interested to try the new pen! Thanks Diamond Art Club for always being amazing and finding/bringing us beautiful artwork!!
