Love This Myth

The finished result is beautiful and very much like the pictured art work. It very much portrays the story of how Hades fell in love with Persephone and abducted her to live with him in the underworld. Her mother, Demeter, the goddess of agriculture, harvest and all growing things, was so sad that nothing bloomed or grew on the land. She persuaded Hades to release her daughter on the condition that he could have her for three months out of the year, which is why we have Winter. Very cool, huh?
