For Christmas 2024, my 9 year old granddaughter asked for "papa art". Being the good grandpa that I am .. LOL...and because her mother likes Peanuts, I bought her several Peanuts character kits, as well as a unicorn kit, because she really likes unicorns! She stays overnight with me most Sundays. We started December 29, 2024 on Lucy. At first she was enthusiastic. The goal was to get several done for her mother's birthday in late March. But then the enthusiasm waned. Next goal Mother's Day! Then a couple of weeks ago she said, "Papa, I like to watch you diamond art for a little, but I really don't enjoy it." So now the agreement is, papa will work on them on Sunday while she is with me, and she will either watch me or Netflix! Finished Lucy today, June 2, 2025. Next is Charlie Brown, and then hopefully Snoopy for her father's birthday in late July. By the way, she turned 10 in April.
Shout out to #DAC. First time I've encountered it, but most of the sticker symbols did not match the canvas. I'll give DMC Number, canvas symbol, then sticker symbol. 310: standard symbol for both; 699: P, 2; 702: C, northeast triangle; 827: -,/; 907: =,right^; 911: down arrow for both; 995: X, E; 3770: northeast triangle, -; 3776: waves, L; 3865: small black square for both; Z3837: L, pill. I hope all the Peanut kits don't have the same problem!

Lucy was always a favorite as a child and this painting did not disappoint. Not just for beginners but a cute and fast painting for experienced painters as well with the same quality and perfection as the larger painting. Going to have to collect all the Peanuts Gang

I love doing the smaller paintings these days and I love the peanuts characters. This was so fun do make!
About halfway done with this one. It’s nice to have several snack-sized canvases to work on. The purple drills (fairy dust?) are amazing! Loving working on this Peanuts series.
