Maryline Cazenave is a graphic designer and animal lover based near Paris, France who has been creating cat and dog artwork since 2008. After getting a degree in fashion, she worked as a cloth designer for a couple of years before turning to art and illustration. She started selling original paintings to Parisian boutiques and pet owners before gradually turning to art licensing as her main focus. Her art can be found on many products such as greeting cards, mugs and cross stitch kits. She has now been licensing her art for more than a decade, and her portfolio contains hundreds of adorable kitten and puppy designs that will melt your heart.

This is my first completed painting and I love it. I put it behind my door in my office, that way when I need a break and I close my door, it brings a smile to my face. The angle that it's act is actually visible to me all the time, so I get to smile often. I worked on it very slowly so it took longer than it probably should have, but it was so worth it.

Nice to work on a smaller project than normal for me. My son specifically pulled this one from my stash and asked it I could do it for him and hang it on his door. Don't need to ask me twice! Even though smaller, I was still very, very happy with the level of shading in the crabby kitty. It turned out wonderfully!
