Simona Candini graduated the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Bologna, Italy and has been a full-time artist since 2010.Her works, showcased in galleries around the globe, embody a beautiful yet sometimes dark world inhabited by big-eyed girls and improbable creatures. I chose this diamond painting because the Cheshire Cat is my favorite character from Alice in Wonderland, so I couldn't resist adding it to my collection. I'm so glad I did!
This is the largest project I've undertaken so far as a novice, and it definitely feels like a step up. The canvas is big and detailed (measuring around 22" x 29"), so it isn't a quick project, but that’s part of what makes it enjoyable.
The rendering is absolutely beautiful. The colors and details really stand out, and even the sections I've completed so far look amazing. You can tell that it's going to come together into a stunning final piece.
I can already tell that this will likely take me more than a month to finish, but I'm not in a rush. I'm enjoying every moment of working on it, section by section, and that’s honestly part of the fun of diamond painting.
Overall, this is a gorgeous and rewarding project, especially if you love Alice in Wonderland as much as I do.

I can't wait to work on the Alice in a Sea of Tears canvas from Diamond Art Club. The artwork is stunning—Alice in Wonderland has always felt so fantastical and whimsical to me, and this piece captures that magic perfectly. Seeing the canvas come to life one diamond at a time is incredibly satisfying. The quality is amazing, the colors are vibrant, and the whole experience feels like stepping into a dreamy fairytale. Highly recommend!
