What a cute painting to do. I love this portrait of captain kitty! I did this one a while back, but didn't get to review at the time. It is tucked away in my portfolio so I will have to do without a pic at this time. I will come back and update when I can. Beautiful colors, materials, just the best quality drills and canvas to work with! Drills never pop or fall off when doing a DAC canvas. Such a relaxing hobby as well!

Cat-tain Jack has been on my wishlist for a long time, I was finally able to find it in stock. I kitted it up the day that I received it and I am having so much fun working on this beautiful project. It is much better than I imagined, the detail in the ships wheel is incredible and the colors are beautiful.
The canvas is amazing as always and the drills are great, they are not stuck together and I have found very little trash so far.

My daughter loves Johnny Depp's PIRATES movies and is quite the cat lover, so this was perfect as a gift for her. I found the perfect moulding with a rope carving to make a frame for this and it turned out awesome.

This was my first ever square kit and when I saw this being offered I knew I had to have it. What grabbed me first was the gorgeous colors, the greens and blues are amazing, soft and gentle, they sweep you away, a bit like Cat-tain Jack guiding his ship thru the waters. Don't be afraid of the fact this kit is created using square drills, take the plunge, I did and they really aren't hard once you've completed a couple of rows. It's well worth the bit of panic you might have in the beginning, worrying about if your going to mess up because it's "squares" It did take me 6 months to complete, but I work full time and only had nights and a bit of free time on the weekends. Just take a deep breath and go for it!
