After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

Love them. Just beautiful!
This is my largest project I've done yet. I worked on it for approximately 1-4 hours nearly everyday, and it took me 8 months to complete. But it was worth it. The detail, the depth, this is breathtaking. Definitely my FAVORITE project I've done so far. Absolutely GORGEOUS!

This project took me a long time to complete, but it was well worth it! It’s also the biggest project I’ve done to date. I did it as a gift for my dad, and he was amazed. The depth, detail, and beauty is just astounding! I was very, VERY pleased with how this turned out. Best one yet! Thank you!
