Piya Wannachaiwong is a fantasy artist working in imaginative realism. He specializes in dragons, dinosaurs and anything with sharp teeth, bad breath and a dramatic pair of wings. He is also an instructor of Illustration and Game Arts at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia. Based in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Mr. Wannachaiwong lives with his lovely wife Christina, herself an artist of all things cute and whimsical.

Many colors. Much fun.

I enjoyed it a lot, took about a month. Almost ran out of one color but had just enough. Looks much better in person than pictures.

THE COLORS!!

Okay so yes the renderingand stuff is great like usual but on this one the star is the brightness of the colors! If you like colors I cannot recommend this one enough!

Colorful and just stunning!

I just love the bright and bold colors of this painting. Also I am very much into dragons lately, so this one had to be added into my collection. The quality is just perfect, drills are very shiny. It will be very much fun to work on.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
