About the artist

Olga Akbarova

Born and raised in Baku, Azerbaijan, Olga Akbarova eventually landed in San Jose, California, Trained as a fashion designer in art school, she dove into illustration and surface design in 2018. Grounded in the sensitive use of colors and inspired by nature's beauty, she uses traditional watercolor/gouache medium and digital software to make joyful, whimsical, detailed art. She lives with her husband, son, and a ginger tabby cat named Findus.

The sparkliest!!

This diamond painting was a joy to work on. It had the most sparkle of any I’ve done so far. I haven’t been doing this long but I love diamond art clubs quality and beautiful pieces of art. You can’t go wrong doing this one.

Stunning Flowers

DAC out did themselves with this kit. All the colors work so well with each other but the purple border really pops. I highly recommend this kit as it is great for any level and just plan wonderful to work on.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
