The coloring on the shadowed part of the cat is way more purple in person. I've attached a photo and video (it's upside down, forgive me) to show how the purple parts appear in person. I have my flash on to give as close to accurate color representation as possible.
If you plan to hang it in a darker area of your home without direct light to see how pink/purple the cat is, then it will be fine. :)
