This placer is working great with the DAC putty that used to come with the twist and pick pens.
Love this tip, the texture makes it easier to twist.
Easy to use. The texture lets you twist it with ease. Love this single placer and will purchase another one just to have.
I'm using this single placer with the white pens that come with the toolkit. Wanted an upgrade from the plastic single placer and it feels great to use it. And it works with the red wax as well as the putty. The cap from the plastic pen fits this single placer perfectly.
NOTE: this does not fit in the first version of the twist and pick pens, the ones that came with putty and 100% plastic tips. The threads don't line up correctly. It works in the current version that comes with a brass-tipped placer and wax.
The texture improves usability and it's nicer to use than the standard tip that comes in the kit. I use it in one of the free pens (covered in washi tape because pretty and feels nice). Refilling it is easy. Less is more, don't try to fill it to the brim.

I love the metal single placer. It works really well in the twist and pick pen. A small pice of washi tape stops any wobble.
