Kim was raised in Minneapolis, MN, and spent his childhood summers up at the lake with his grandparents in rural Minnesota. After graduating from Minneapolis Community College and spending eight years as a commercial artist for Honeywell, Kim realized it was time to go freelance with his own unique style. As a Christian artist, Kim believes all of creation is a reflection of Gods glory, so he painstakingly researches every detail in his work to make sure it is captured as precisely as it would be found in nature.

Al principio no llama mucho la atención, pero cada vez que lo vas mirando te enamoras de él. Por su aurora boreal, su hoguera recordándote a esos recuerdos de la infancia y sus colores... me fascina. Con ganas de empezarlo.
Por el resto, nada a comentar es un DAC. Todo viene perfecto.

I know I gave an elaborate 4 star review earlier. That was mainly for lack of special drills in a painting with mostly similar dark drills. The end result is just stunning and fabulous. With the right frame, it's a masterpiece in my living room 🤩

This was a painting I knew DAC will bring bcoz it was so popular.. I must admit that I was a tad disappointed with the rendering as some parts of the skies were patchy and I'm not sure if the Aurora translated as per original. That said the end result is fabulous! If I wasn't a huge fan of the original, I wouldn't make that comparison. I was intimidated by all the dark colours in this painting. While I worked on it, I craved a few special drills. A few ABs on the actual AB would've helped or at least fairy dust - at this price point! I added fairy dust to the stars and a bit of AB to the moon. Changed a few patchy areas. The trees and fire were rendered perfectly.
While working on it, I thought I'd give it a 3 star review but the end result (esp with a rich frame) is just stunning! My family loves it so I've only taken off a star. A really classy piece

First order with DAC was this one as a gift for my friend. I was blown away by just the packaging and quality of the materials from the getgo...the artwork is absolutely stunning and this company is worth every cent of their products.
