I discovered i like doing geometric shaped canvases. A little noticeable gaping in the light borders. I like this artist a lot and would purchase more of his great works.

I love this image and have enjoyed working on it, but I noticed as soon as I began working on the skin that there was an issue with over-saturation going on with the range of assigned colors. The drills themselves were true to their DMC color according to leftovers I had from other kits and online comparisons. But the colors chosen didn’t result in a product that looked like the original image or the rendering, which is supposed to be much more muted. Even on the other image reviews, you can see where some canvases are very saturated in their color palette, whereas others are truer to the image.
I remedied this by reassigning certain colors in certain areas of the canvas but when I saw the rendering again and older review images after having already worked a decent amount on it, not being able to explain why it looked “off” to me, I realized somewhere along the way the color coding must have changed with this batch.
Such a gorgeous canvas! I cant wait to start working on it. I love all of Alphonse Muchas work DAC does 🤩
