I usually prefer square drills however this design is so absolutely beautiful so that i dont mind the round drills. As a matter of fact this is the second time I have purchased this kit- unfortunately the original was ruined during a house move. The second this was back in stock I grabbed it to do again. Can't wait to get started.

I made this at someone else's request and had thought I'd be bored by the lack of colors, but it didn't turn out to be an issue. I did a fair bit of multi-placing, but I mostly used checkerboard placing and that made it a such a satisfying experience for me. It's stunning, in my opinion, and the glittery effect of round diamonds brings it to life. The one issue I experienced was that there were a few spots where the glue was sort of dried out. I thought I remembered someone suggesting to use a baby wipe to revive the glue so I tried that and it seems to have done the trick.

I ordered this scene because we live on Swan Lake in Florida. Sadly, the gators have cleaned out our live swan so we are now living with fake ones that look so real. My grandfather lived in this house and then my Mom and Dad and we are so proud to be the third generation.

I love this image, but it was a bit boring to work on since there are only 12 colors and it's so huge. It took me 8 months to complete this one because I had to take breaks to work on more colorful canvases. There's a lot of color blocking and line blocking, which I enjoy, but the dark colors made me lose interest after a while. But it's a lovely image once it's completed.
