After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

I’m enjoying working on this painting and seeing it all come together. There have been some sections that is very light on the glue in turn causing some popping drills. Over all I’m very happy with this painting and can’t wait for it to be completed and hung .

This is a beautiful picture but when I saw the rendering I was amazed. DAC always does amazing renderings but this was some of the best ever. The rendering in the water drops was incredible. This is one of my favorite projects and anyone that does this will be speechless. Thank you Diamond Art Club!
