Nene began her professional career as a watercolorist in 1994. She was soon approached by Wizards of the Coast and hired to contribute work to the collectible card game “Magic: The Gathering”. Several years later, she branched out on her own as a print artist, experimenting with digital art and painting only the things she wanted to paint. She finds inspiration for from a variety of sources, but the vast majority comes from a story she has been working on since high school. “The Zarryiostrom”, her most intensely personal project, is an epic fantasy series that she tricked her poor, unwitting husband, Steven Plagman, into writing. All told, there will be nine books in the series, each containing 20 paintings by Nene.

Even though oranges and browns aren’t my favorite colors I loved putting this one together. There was a good mix of confetti parts and small color blocking sections. Great canvas and I would recommend it!

I was super excited to see this kit. It has great colors, a beautiful dragon, and a piano. It is a very large kit so I will not be able to do it for a while but I am super excited to work on it and see it come to life
