This one had a good mix of blocking and confetti, but more confetti. There was obviously a lot of blue but I loved the pop of color that the yellow provided.
I glued the trimmed canvas to a pre stretched and painted canvas for hanging.

After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. I had so much fun with this Diamond Painting. The colours are so beautiful. The ABs on the octopus, in the water and in the sunrays make the picture very shiny. It was fun working on this.
