Larry began his artistic career drawing storyboards for television commercials in the 1980s. Over the years, he’s produced thousands of works in a wide range of styles, running the gamut of children’s illustration, advertising, editorial, graphics, and now, digital painting. He works out of a small studio in his backyard surrounded by much of the nature he paints.

This was a lot of fun to work on. It is very confetti heavy and a lot of neutrals but the final result is the perfect Christmassy beach scene. There were some drill quality issues with a few of the dark colors but there were enough extra I was able to trash the bad ones and not run out.

I am 2/3's of the way through on this one and it is prettier than the picture. It has so much shine and the shells just look so real on the canvas once diamond painted. Larry Jones did a marvelous job on this painting and I will be looking for more of his work.
The squares fit perfectly and I love the way this is turning out.

Such a stunning piece. I was attracted by the crossover element of Christmas and the beach and I must say, it have been a pleasure to work on it. It was easy to work on one shell at a time, filling in the sand along the way, allowing me to clearly see my progress. The finished piece is stunning, and could probably be left on display all year round.

This canvas depicts our Christmas season in Florida so well. I loved working on each individual seashell. Each with nice detailing and colors. My one complaint is the white ABs in the water to represent the sea foam. The AB were a bit to pink to bring about the right representation of the sea.
