I wasn’t sure about this one when my husband picked it for his office. But once I started working on it the colors really came alive. It is very large and not for the faint of heart. But it turned out beautiful. He is so happy with it.

As someone who’s completed dozens of kits, Majestic Ship easily sails into my top tier of Diamond Art Club canvases. The moment I unrolled the canvas, I was struck by the depth and drama in the artwork—you can almost feel the wind and smell the salt in the air. The ship cuts a bold silhouette against the ominous sky, and those storm clouds? Deliciously moody.
The canvas quality is exactly what I’ve come to expect from DAC—flawless. Poured glue, clean symbols, and a soft backing that makes longer sessions more comfortable. The drills were high quality as usual, with great shine and virtually no trash.
Now let’s talk confetti—you’ll find most of it concentrated in the ship itself. The rigging, sails, and deck are packed with detail, and that means a lot of color changes in tight areas. It’s not for the faint of heart, but it’s also what gives the rendering such remarkable depth. The final result is crisp, dramatic, and absolutely worth the effort.
