These coasters are very easy to make, so they make a nice side project between major projects. Each one takes maybe a couple of hours (depending on how fast you’re working, obviously). They look nice, although the gems are a little sparser than I had expected (I thought it would be crowded with gems, like a canvas, rather than being partially covered with designs). They’ll make nice gifts or be useful for my own home, I haven’t decided yet! I did use some of the extra gems to fill in what I felt were some gaps, but DAC is always super generous with the drill amounts so that wasn’t a problem. Drills are top-quality as always, as is the glue on the coasters. They also come with little cork stickers to put on the bottom so that they work better as coasters, which was appreciated. I’ll probably end up sealing them despite instructions just to be safe, since there’s a good chance they’ll get liquids dripped on them (I’m in Florida, even mugs and glasses sweat here).

These are beautiful and a great project for my 7-year-old to work on while I work on my large pieces. I completed one in about 20 minutes, so the time below is not accurate, but I couldn't choose a lower time.
