To be honest, I was a little hesitant at first. The image looked beautifully – no doubt about that. But in my mind, that mostly meant: a lot of brown. And brown... well, it's really not my favorite color. Quite the opposite. I was worried the color palette wouldn’t be for me.
So I was genuinely surprised when I started working on it. Suddenly, it wasn’t just brown. There was red. Orange. Beige. Violet. Pink. And of course – yellow, in all its soft and glowing shades. The piece turned out to be far more vibrant than I had expected. Colorful in such a subtle and harmonious way.
The process itself has been such a joy – and it still is. I’m almost done, but not quite. Still, I couldn’t wait to share my thoughts.
Because what’s slowly coming to life on the canvas is simply beautiful. The face that’s emerging, piece by piece, is so expressive and full of character. I never thought a design I nearly dismissed as “too brown” could end up inspiring me this much.
So if you're on the fence: don’t let the first impression mislead you. This diamond painting is full of depth, full of color – and full of surprises you’ll only discover as you go.
