After a childhood of moving through many cultures, Julie Filipenko earned a BA from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, Israel and later took up residence in Tel Aviv. Working mainly in acrylic paint and graphite, her work has been exhibited all over the US, Australia, Israel and Europe.
