About the artist
Simona Candini
Simona Candini graduated the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Bologna, Italy and has been a full-time artist since 2010. Her works, showcased in galleries around the globe, embody a beautiful yet sometimes dark world inhabited by big eyed girls and improbable creatures. With a stirring of emotions translated onto each new work of art, Simona brings her love of the old fairytales and childhood imaginings to us in a unique and poetic way. She is a traditional artist and enjoys using oils, watercolor, acrylics, graphite and pencils on paper, canvas and wood boards. Fun fun fun!
Each part of the painting has so many new details to work on! Confetti everywhere, a fair amount of both color blocking and confetti. I just fell in love with this piece. I am still working on it however, but it’s been a fun and enjoyable experience so far. I love how you can find so much detail in the painting once you add the drills, it really brings the art to life. I am very impressed with how high the quality is with this painting.

How to use
This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.
Step 1
Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax
Step 2
Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
Step 3
Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
