Born and raised in Chicago, Marjorie is an alumna of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and holds a BFA from Eastern Michigan University. Her illustration style evolved from her love of patterns and a lifelong passion for collecting vintage, illustrated books. Marjorie currently lives in Southern California with her husband, daughter, son, and two dogs.

Fun, bright colors!

This Flamingo with the bright colors against the black background was a lot of fun to do. I tend to do the bigger ones but this was great as it was small enough to roll up and take camping. Love this one!

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
